"The hotel is very convenient as it's located in the central city, Every attraction and food outlet is approx 10 to 15 minutes walk which I don't mind. The hotel provides a breakfast buffet all day and dinner from 6pm to 9pm. The customer service is very professional and friendly! I got a king bedroom that also includes air conditioning which is very cosy. The bed is very comfortable, however am not really a fan with soft pillows.
They have plenty of amenities and facilities in the room, i love the experience and have a nice sunrise view in the morning. Would definitely recommend to family and friends to stay."
"The location is very good, just opposite the Octagonal Pavilion. The hotel facilities are a bit old, which is why I like it, including the elevator buttons, which are old but well maintained and function normally. There is a casino in the hotel, which is doing good business."
"This was a lovely motel for my husband and dog. Very clean, good bed, two tvs and complimentary teas, coffees and bathroom shampoos abd body wash. Shower was hot and good pressure. Had a good heater and electric blanket. Good value for money. Would definitely go back again."
"Nice hotel. Spacious room, clean toilet. Breakfast was not that high quality, but I can't complain of it considering the reasonable price. Recommendable place!"
"Situated right next to st claire beach.walking distance to second beach and short drive to tunnel beach. Many restaurants around, good if you self drive. There's no other amenties at the hotel and they are strict about their check in time. As it has only 4~5 stories high, you can look right into the room from the ground floor/street level. If you dont mind the lack of privacy, ultimately the view is great!"
"Located around the city centre, with a lot of restaurants and shops just outside the hotel. Free parking for staying guest, guest can also use their washing machine. Room is clean and big, with free wifi access."
"Best location. The one-hundred years old house is well maintained, the room is well presented. Car park is pretty small and drive way is very narrow. Everything else is perfect.Highly recommended."
"Excellent hospitality! The motel has a good location, it is very clean and tidy. The host is so helpful and provides us with some attraction routes, which is more interesting than driving through the highway! And Rocky (Labrador) is soooo cute! We will definitely recommend this motel to our friends!"

Great
DDingtoudingnaoThe roses in this hotel are of very good quality and are bigger than fists. The room is also quite spacious, you can cook your own food (cook instant noodles), it is clean and tidy. Parking is also very convenient.
HHappy StormFantastic stay. Friendly and very helpful reception. The accommodation was clean and neat. Close to Botanic Garden and University of Otago. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay here again when returning to Dunedin.
11860291****Overall, it was very good. I stayed for one night. It was comfortable and warm. Check-in and check-out were easy and hassle-free. It is located in the suburbs. It doesn't matter if you have a car. Overall, it was very good. There are cats. There is also a small bottle of milk when you check in🥛
CChalinee SamutphongThis hotel is very good, clean and comfy. I love their bed. It's so soft and comfortable. It's located in the good location. If you don't mind hearing the noises of cars and sirens.
GGuest UserThe hotel breakfast needs to be ordered from the menu. The portion is OK. If you order too much, you can share it. It is slightly richer than the normal Western breakfast. I ordered a large breakfast, which is OK.
GGuest UserKudos to the check in staff, particularly, Sally Guo and Aaron who are both helpful n hospitable in assisting my family especially my hubby who needs accessible toilet n Sally took the trouble to find us a room for that purpose. Also the additional night booked with Dunedin Lodge simply worth it as they made sure we transfer to another room with ease in terms of checkout n checkin time. Next to botanic gardens n 5 mins walk to supermarket n local community are what I'd consider n recommend to all who'd like to find a suitable n excellent accommodation.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very convenient, right on the main street, and the owner is very helpful. The environment is good, the service is good, the sanitation is comfortable, very satisfied, will come again, recommend friends to stay in Dunedin.
PPhilippa16This hotel is very handy to central Dunedin. The unit was warm when we used 2 lots of heating sources. It had everything we needed for our stay. Great little kitchenette. Bathroom was OK, no ventilation system to extract moisture, so just had to keep windows open. (A tad chilly)
My only minus was how much street noise and student noise we heard every night. Hard to get to sleep. However this is not a fault of the hotel.
GGuest UserLeviathan Hotel is a classic hotel with a nice interior of the common areas (wooden stairs, old fashioned furniture etc.) and an old style elevator and keys for the doors. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My rooms is in the small side and if your want a super new and spotless hotel this one is a little bit old and worn which is part of its charm.
GGuest UserA very retro and stylish hotel. It is indeed very old, and the facilities are also very old. The traces of time can be seen everywhere, and the bathroom is also very small. But its biggest advantage is that it is in the city center, very close to the most popular and beautiful station, the Octagonal Square, and other places. There is a bar and restaurant downstairs, providing breakfast and dinner. In addition, the price is also very cost-effective. It depends on your opinion. It depends on each person's choice.
